Chanel Norphlet is a junior biology/pre-med major from Oxford, MS. According to Chanel, her parents instilled in her the meaning of philanthropy and how it is truly better to give than to receive. She believes that at Jackson State we are taught that challenging minds changes lives, so as she continues her education, she aspires to make a difference at JSU and in her community.
