These are computer labs that are opened to students of various academic disciplines to aid them in the completion and advancement of their academic studies.
Students are able to perform standard tasks such as access the world wide web, save their data to various media formats (CD-ROM, USB drive), word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation, and print education- based documentation.
Tigerlab consists of the following classes of computer laboratories:
NetID Enabled – Open Access (NIE) computer technology laboratories are available to all Jackson State University students. Students and faculty are granted access of facilities by utilizing their NetID account. Tigerlab General Lab Usuage Policy enforced area.
Standard – Open Access (SOA) computer technology laboratories are available to all Jackson State University students. Students and faculty are granted access of facilities through use of local system profiles. Tigerlab General Lab Usuage Policy enforced area.
Closed/Departmental (CD) computer technology laboratories are available to university students affiliated with the school or department the lab is hosted by. Students within school/department are granted access based upon specific usuage policies.
