General Education Course Instruction Resources

All General Education courses should use the General Education syllabus template. The syllabus template has been provided to all academic deans, chairs, and program directors for distribution to faculty who are teaching General Education courses. Faculty can also request a copy of the template by sending an email to theepathway@jsums.edu. 

Common syllabus means that all sections of a General Education course should have the same syllabus and students are working towards the same learning outcomes.
