The Mississippi Humanities Council has named Dr. Nadia Bodie-Smith JSU's Humanities Teacher of the Year. She will receive an award and present a brief lecture on Thursday, October 29th at 10am in the Dollye E. Robinson building, room 166/266. This free event is open to the public.
Congratulations to our department faculty members Prince Duren and Yohance Myles for being cast in the play "A Time to Kill" at New Stage Theatre! The play runs from October 27th to November 8th.

My Brother's Keeper is a local organization whose mission is to provide information about healthy living for the LGBTQ community. Timmy Kimber, a participant, is currently on the design team for the coronation for our 2015-2016 Miss JSU, who is also a Theatre major. Congratulations Timmy!
