Welcome to the Teaching Tuesday Workshops series supported by the Office of Academic Affairs! Our objective is to foster innovative teaching strategies and create communities of practice among faculty members at Jackson State University.
About the Workshops
Our teaching and learning workshops are designed to provide practical tools and interactive experiences that you can immediately apply to your teaching and course design.
- Schedule: Most workshops are held on Tuesdays.
- Format: Hybrid (both in-person and via Zoom), with recordings available online afterward.
- Duration: Each workshop includes a 30-45 minute interactive presentation followed by 30 minutes of hands-on activities.
- Topics Covered: Curriculum design, use of technology in the classroom, student engagement, and more.
- Designed and Conducted By: Five Faculty Teaching Fellows from various departments across the university.
