Professor Ko is one of the recipients of the JSU Creative Award for 2016

Professor Jae-Young Ko is one of the recipients of the JSU Creative Award for 2016.  His proposed project (title: Exploring Sustainable Community Development for the Mississippi Delta Region Employing Ecological Economics Framework) will be funded for the study of Mississippi Delta region throughout 2016.  The proposed study will explore the potentials of sustainable community development in which human society assumes to be depend on a proper relationship between natural ecosystem and human society, and explore the policy options for community development of the region, including utilizing natural ecosystem services as a way to reduce financial burdens to local communities in complying with the Clean Water Act regulations in Mississippi.  Now Professor Ko is looking for a student who will work with him as Research Assistant.  Student from the Mississippi Delta region will get the first priority.
