The Master of Science in Sport Science online degree program aims to provide a broad-based, comprehensive curriculum with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. The Sport Management concentration is a goal-oriented social process within a sport enterprise using pragmatic, self-determined goals. It involves the selection of appropriate strategies and provisions for directing the work of the sport enterprise and the control of performance in an effort to meet the objectives of the organization.
Sport Management caters to the successful operation of a variety of sport organizations and operations, such as intercollegiate athletics, sport facilities, professional sport organizations, parks and recreation organizations, sport marketing companies and multipurpose facilities.
The goal of the Sport Management concentration is to provide quality preparation for management positions within the sport industry. A total of 36 graduate credit hours are required to earn a Masters in Sports Science.

Applicants for the master’s degree must hold an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Applicants must submit an official copy of the Graduate Record Examination Score taken within the last 5 years.
