Spotlight on Students: Vocalists Shine at Statewide Competition

The following freshmen and sophomores participated in the Mississippi Music Teachers Association (MMTA) Collegiate Competitions that were held in the Spring of 2017.  Keitra Wilson – 2nd Place, Ginaia Black – First Place and Laura Pitts – Honorable Mention. Dr. Jeff Kensmoe was an adjudicator from Birmingham-Southern.  These students are from the studio of Dr. Phyllis Lewis-Hale at Jackson State University.
