SPLC Get in the Room Bootcamp

Sponsored by the Southern Poverty Law Center, the "Get in the Room" initiative addresses the systemic underrepresentation of Black men in key decision-making spaces. By creating a platform to inspire leadership and participation, the event will serve as a launchpad for sustained civic engagement among Black men, starting with local governance. This bootcamp will serve as a weekend of learning to strategize, mobilize, and prepare to participate in various public meetings in Jackson.
