Medgar Evers Exhibit Reception

Head to the Ocean Springs Municipal Library on August 22nd at 6:00 p.m. for the Medgar Evers Exhibit Reception, which will feature our director Dr. Robert Luckett as he speaks about the Civil Rights Movement in Mississippi, from its roots and connection with World War II to the stories of local activists in the modern movement.

The reception is in honor of the exhibit “This is Home: Medgar Evers, Mississippi, and the Movement,” which you can view at the library from August 15 through September 15.
