The Welcome Center is a visitor information center that serves prospective students and their families, alumni, staff and friends of Jackson State University.  Our free services include:

Meeting Space

The center also features a conference room that is available for use by JSU faculty, staff, students, and the community. There is no charge for use of the conference room. The room is equipped with a conference table and 12 executive-style chairs; a MondoPad for PowerPoint presentations and videoconferencing; wireless internet; and an audio-conferencing unit. Additional chairs are available for use in the conference room. Prior notice is required for reserving the Welcome Center conference room. To reserve the conference room, please call (601) 979-0883.

Campus Maps & Information

To aid visitors, the Welcome Center provides campus maps. Campus maps can also be found here. Information regarding the various academic programs of JSU, community activities, and City of Jackson attractions are also available in the Welcome Center.
