Diplomas are mailed 2-3 months after each commencement ceremony. Certification of each student’s degree at the Jackson State University occurs after the Commencement ceremony.
Diplomas are mailed to students after the degree auditing and awarding.
Graduated students (excluding Financial Holds, Judicial Holds) will be mailed to the diploma mailing address listed on the graduate’s graduation application.
Diplomas are mailed standard USPS (Certified Mail).
If you have not received your diploma after 3 months, please email degreeinfo@jsums.edu or call 601-979-2732. Diplomas are typically held for 2 years, depending upon the nature or the reason the diploma was held.
