Cancer Prevention and Survivorship

Join Sherry Hughes, breast cancer survivor and director of strategic community engagement for Cincinnati Cancer Advisors, and Dr. Jasmine Miller-Kleinhenz, a University of Mississippi Medical Center scientist studying cancer biology, health disparities and translational research. Through their own personal narratives, they will discuss breast cancer prevention strategies, advocacy and survivorship with a particular focus on African Americans who die disproportionately from breast cancer.

National Cancer Institute (NCI) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) joins this series with an information webinar on lab-to-market funding opportunities on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
Join us to learn about the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funding opportunities and how you can receive up to $6.9 million in no-strings-attached funding to advance your cancer technology ideas from lab to market.
