Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Industrial Systems & Technology

College of Science, Engineering, and Technology

The Industrial Technology Program prepares students for supervisory and management positions in the production, automation, maintenance or logistics areas of industry.

Facilities

The Industrial Technology Program at Jackson State University are principally housed in the new Engineering Building, with additional facilities available in the J. Y. Woodard Building.

Instructional facilities for the Industrial Technology program are primarily in the new Engineering Building and consist of classrooms, computer rooms, and laboratories. Several of the classrooms have been equipped with cameras and projectors contained within an instructional podium. The faculty can record lecture, save and store video and retrieve to post to Canvas or send link for student to access in case of absences or further review. The Computer Engineering Program also shares some of its laboratory facilities with the Industrial Systems & Technology program.
