The Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation offers a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in the areas of Health (teaching), Physical Education (teaching), Recreation (non-teaching), and Therapeutic Recreation (nonteaching).
Phi Epsilon Kappa is a national professional fraternity serving men and women in the field of physical education, health, recreation, dance, human performance, exercise science, sports medicine, and sport management.
Phi Epsilon Kappa objectives include fostering scientific research, facilitating cross cultural exchange of information and service to the profession. The organization also engages in activities to promote the objectives of the fraternity such as sponsorship of seminars and workshops.
