Generation Hope Parenting Student Resource Fair Showcases Support at Jackson State University
Jackson State University recently hosted the Generation Hope Parenting Student Resource Fair, a vital event aimed at providing support and resources to student parents within the university community. The fair was a beacon of hope and empowerment for those balancing academics with parenting responsibilities, offering valuable information and assistance to help them navigate their unique journey.
A standout participant at the resource fair was the Auxiliary Enterprises department, which played an essential role in showcasing the services it provides to support student parents on campus. Members of the department, including Charlease Jordan, Zakeia Davis, along with FamilyU cohort member Kamesha Hill (Director of Auxiliary Enterprises), were actively engaged in reaching out to attendees and highlighting the diverse range of services available to assist student parents in various aspects of their academic and personal lives.
