Tramell Tillman, a member of the Metro New York Chapter of the Jackson State University Alumni Association, will make his Off Broadway debut in Tis a Pity She's a Whore on April 14, 2015. The show runs through May 16, 2015.
Tramell Tillman is a native of the DC Metro Area. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Jackson State University's Mass Communications program as of May 2008. In May 2014, he obtained his MFA in Theatre from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and moved to New York to advance his acting career. This past summer he spent his months studying in upstate NY as a member of the Chautauqua Theatre Conservatory. Since his time in Mississippi, Tennessee, and New York, Tillman has been involved in numerous productions, some of which
include: The Whipping Man, Spamalot, Scapino!, A Soldier's Play, Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Tempest, and A Raisin in the Sun. Recently, Tillman finished shooting a brief role on a new web series called Difficult People, from executive producer Amy Poehler. He is thrilled to join the cast and crew of Red Bull Theater Company to tell this dynamic tale of love, honor, and incest. Live the dream, beloved. Mount up on eagle's wings and soar.
