Anthony Hales Jr. was accepted in the U.S. Black Chambers' Young Black Male Entrepreneur Institute. Hales is a 2007 graduate of Jackson State University with a degree in mass communcations. He currently resides in Washington D.C. with his wife Shari Dixon Hales, who is also a 2007 JSU graduate (Meteorology).
