Proudly serving Jackson, Mississippi, and the greater metropolitan area, our detachment is hosted on the main campus of Jackson State University. We also maintain cross-town partnerships with Belhaven University, Hinds Community College, Millsaps College, Mississippi College, and Tougaloo College.

As the only HBCU-based AFROTC unit in Mississippi, Det 006 is committed to developing leaders of character for the world’s greatest Air Force and Space Force.
